McKinley Chapter No. 102 R.A.M.'s envelope. The envelope is white, letter sized, and the return address is typeset in red ink. The return address reads as follows: "Reurn in 5 days to McKinley Chapter No. 102, R.A.M. ANTON SHABAT, Secretary Residence: 2355 N. 55th Street Milwaukee 10, Wis." The envelope is addressed to "MR. GEORGE A. BECHTEL 1417 Brooklyn Ave. S.W. Canton, Ohio"; this information is typed in black ink. There are two postmarks. One overlaps the address slightly and reads "Milwaukee, Wis. JA 27, 1962 12:30 PM." The second is directly below a stamp of Lincoln and is largely illegible, although "JA 27 12:30 PM" is legible. Permanent postage is affixed in the form of a four cent purple oval postage mark with an image of Benjamin Franklin in the extreme upperright corner. To the left of this postage is a purple four cent United States postage stamp with an image of Abraham Lincoln. The back of the envelope is blank, with tape marks where tape was used to seal the envelope.Collection
