Display consisting of photos, letters, and articles pertaining to McKinley's death and funeral. This display in is an ornately carved black/grey frame. The six photos across the top are hand-captioned as follows: McKinley Home Cleveland Grays Street Scene Floral Pieces at Vault Vault and Floral Pieces The bottom contains five images, hand-captioned as follows: Court House -- Where Body Lay in State Battery "A" Church Decorations Canton Escort Troop School Children's Arch Three Photos on the Left Side (not including the first photos of the top and bottom rows) are hand-captioned as follows: Remains and Escort Funeral Floral Pieces Funeral Car Three photos on the right side (not including the last photos of the top and bottom rows) are hand-captioned as follows: Court House and Square Funeral Train (at distance) Street Scene In the center of the display are the following items (left to right) Top row: Copy of Daily paper A personal handwritten note Copy of Daily Paper bottom row: Envelope autographed by William Jennings Bryan note to Chrales G. Deuble thanking him in behalf of Queen Alexandra for the photos of the funeral. Note it came from Balmoral Castle note to Charles Deuble from Ida McKinley's Secretary Healey thanking him for his thoughtful kindness (October 6th, 1902) The back of the display is covered with brown paper, and has several places where George Bechtel's name and address are stamped.
