Since 1864, the statue of the Virgin protects the safe return of local fishermen so that do not get lost in one of the thundering storms. Originally set on a large rock off the coast, the Vierge would became accessible to the public under the order of Napoleon III. In 1887 the original wooden bridge was replaced by the bridge now used the crossing between the mainland and the coastal rock."Collection
