Milky white glass bulb with gold lettering and artwork. The front of the bulb shows an image of the Trumbull County Courthouse in Warren, Ohio. The image is in gold and is silk screened. The back of the bulb reads "Warren, Ohio Bicentennial Celebration 1799-1999 Trumbull County Courthouse" in gold with gold scrollwork surrounding the text. The ornament has a gold crown hanging loop with a gold cord attached.
The bulb is in a white box, with tissue paper inside. The lid of the box has the same gold lettering and scrollwork, and reads "Warren, Ohio Bicentennial Celebration 1799-1999 Trumbull County Courthouse third in a series." The bottom of the box is plain and has indentations to enable folding the box flat. Side A of the box is plain white, with a gift tag sticker in the upper left corner. The sticker has a color image of a red bow on a green and red holly berry and leaves background and reads "To: Trish From: Jerry & Mary Lee. The other four sides of the box are plain white.
There is a small insert sheet inside the box. The front of the insert sheet has the same scrollwork and text as the box lid, in gold. The inside of the insert has a blank white on the back of the cover, and the next page reads as follows: "Trumbull County Courthouse Warren's own Crown Jewel of architecture. Built in 1895 of Amherst stone, its design is Richardson[ian] Romanesque. the courthouse was dedicated on May 10, 1897. In 1993, it was decided to completely restore the courthouse to its original glory. Now completely refurbished, it stands in grandeur for Warren's Bicentennial Celebration. The Trumbull County Courthouse is listed on the National Historical Register of the U.S. Department of Interior. This ornament was created in celebration of Warren's Bicentennial, 1799-1999." The back of the insert reads as follows: "Made exclusively for Governor Galleries Cortland, Ohio 330-638-8425" in black lettering.Collection
