Description

This is a negative glass slide showing soldiers eating on and around what appears to be the front porch of the McKinley home in Canton, Ohio, possibly during or around the time of President McKinley's funeral in September, 1901. There is text on the slide that reads " Soldiers Eating-Canton." This is a single glass slide and missing fabric tape that protects the outer edges and joins two slides together.
