This ornament is part of the White House Historical Association's series of collectible ornaments. It is the thirty-first in the series. The ornament commemorates the administration of Calvin Coolidge. According to the insert, "The 2015 White House Christmas ornament honors the Presidency of Calvin Coolidge, who served as thhe thirtieth president of the United States from 1923 to 1929. A depiction of the National Christmas tree crafted from shiny brass plated with nickel and 24K gold is illuminated from within and hung with ornaments representing the events of Coolidge's unique life and presidency." The original ornament was on the tree in the Blue Room of the White House during the 2015 Christmas season. A red satin ribbon for hanging the ornament is attached.
The ornament includes an informational insert telling about the ornament and the White House Historical Association.
The ornament is in a white box and with a red velveteen liner. The liner reads "White House Historical Association in gold. The lid of the box features a color image of the ornament in the center. "The White House Historical Association Christmas Ornament 2015" in gold lettering appear above and below the central image. The bottom of the box is white with with a sketch of the White House near the top and a small white bar code near the bottom and the words "Visit www.whitehousehistory.org or call 1-800-555-2451 Made in the USA" in light blue between the sketch and the bar code. .Collection
