Description

This is a 1 1/2 in. diameter button made of celluloid and metal. The front of the button has a color portrait of McKinley, on an gold background, facing right, and surrounded by a black border. Above his picture are words in gold that read " In Memoriam." On the reverse side is a 1 1/8 in. long metal pin and clasp used for attachment. A round metal ring surrounds the entire piece and holds it together. There is an old accession number written on the back: "95.70.168."
