Description

This is a 1 1/2 in. diameter button made of celluloid and metal. The front of the button has a black and white portrait of McKinley facing right, slightly off center, on an ivory background, and surrounded by a black border. Within the border, above his portrait are words in ivory that read " We Mourn." Below his portrait are the words in ivory that read "Our Loss." On the reverse side is a metal back with a 1 in. long metal pin and clasp used for attachment. No manufacturer's markings are visible.
