Description

This is the typewritten card that belongs with the Funeral Ribbon worn by George B. Cortelyou at McKinley's funeral at Canton, Ohio in 1901. It measures 5/8 in. high x 3 5/8 in. long, with the following text written on it: " Funeral ribbon worn by my grandfather at Wm. McKinley's funeral in Canton." The card was probably an index card cut down since the back of it has faint blue lines across. It also looks like part of it was torn away in 3 places and has red cloth fibers attached in several places.
