Description

Linoleum block print of President McKinley. The image shows a rather haggard looking President McKinley seated at his desk. One hand is on the desk indicating that he is reading the paper on the desk.the other hand is at his side. This framed print is surrounded by a sepia-toned mat with a black edge. these are further surrounded by a white mat with a black edge. It is believed that the artist hand wrote "Spelinen" in the upper right corner. It is believed that this print was to have been used for publication, however, it was never used. It is thought to be the only one of its type. The back of the frame is plain, with brown paper and hanging hardware.
