The memorial to those who perished aboard the Maine in Havana Harbor is on the left of the image. The caption on the back of the card reads as follows: Columbus Circle. At 58th Street, at the intersection of Broadway & Eighth Ave., Entrance to Central Park. Statue to commemorate discovery of America by Columbus. Also Maine Monument erected 1913, to the memory of the heroes who perished on the Maine in Havana Harbor." Written vertically on the left side of the card is "Pub. by Manhattan Post Card Co., 114 Park Row, New York." The word "Quality" with arrows extending above and below it is written vertically in the center of the card. The right side of the card has the header "Post Card" with the number 101670 above it, "This space for address only" beneath it, and "Place Stamp Here Domestic One Cent Foreign Two Cents" to the right.Collection
