Xerox copy of Inventory and Appraisement for the Estate of William McKinley. This form is schedule A. Page one is mainly blank, with much crossing out of the typing. Page two consists of a note at the bottom third of the page, which reads as follows: "All the wearing apparel and ornaments of the family and of the deceased also all the provisions, pictures, carpets, rugs, household and kitchen furniture, plate, silver, and tableware, and all other articles in the household. It being intended to hearby award to the widow all and singular the personal property, goods and effects now in the late homestead of the said decedant on North Market Street in the city of Canton, Ohio very much of said property now belongs to said widow in her own right and all the balance thereof is awarded to her as being necessary and proper for her use as the surviving member of the family." The bottom of the page is dated November 25, 1901, and there are signatures of thre appraisers next to the date.Collection
