Scope and Content

A letter sent from Mr. Herbert F.Doney to Hon. E.W. Morgan. The letter was sent in reply to notification that Doney recieved explaining that his pension was to be cancelled if he did not present affidavits. Doney was honor guard to the deceased William McKinley. He claims to have been in the hospital with dysentery and malaria, and is writing to keep his pension.
