Written on white paper with black ink in Times New Roman font, this two page document was used by Committee Chair Trish Scarmuzzi to run the Centennial Gala Planning Committee Meeting on the date listed. The centennial logo is in color at the top of the first page, with the text beneath it.

"Centennial Planning Committee Meeting
September 7, 2017
I. Call to order: Ms Scarmuzzi called the meeting to order at 10:04 AM
II. Roll Call: The following members were present: Michelle Alleman, Traci Buttar, Dawn Tallman, Sandy Bilovesky, Tony Ciminero, Susan Rossi-Wilcox, Trish Scarmuzzi, Theresa Martin
III. Corrections/adjustments to minutes of August 3, 2017 meeting: There being no correction or adjustments, the minutes stand as written.
IV. Committee Reports
a. Cornerstone Opening: Rich Hale, chairperson: Ms Buttar reported that the cornerstone will be opened privately on Saturday September 23, 2017 at 10AM.
b. Guest Speakers: Mike Wilson, chairperson: Ms Buttar stated that Mr. Blair scheduled Mike DeWine to speak. She will also speak with Rick Leonard regarding getting Congressman Ryan to come. Miss Scarmuzzi may then contact Congressman Ryan's office.
c. Catering: Tony Ciminero, chairperson. Mr. Ciminero counted 122 chairs here, and asked if there are more. Mrs. Martin responded that there are more downstairs. If we use our own chairs, Mr. Ciminero can get chair covers and sashes for our chairs, but it would cost $531 for this. If we use his chairs, we would have to get a trailer to transport the chairs here and back to his business. He would charge $1 for this. Mr. Ciminero will work on getting the tables once we have an approximate head count. This will be done closer to the date. He might contact Allen Zubyk of Niles Chairs for this. Dessert will consist of an assortment to be available at each table. Mr. Ciminero asked if Buckeye Club is providing drinks in addition to the hors d'ouevres.
d. Decorations: Dawn Tallman and Michelle Alleman. Michelle Alleman stated that Mr. Yuhasz said that he would get the bunting and contact Connelly's. The head table is to be done by Reese's, the sign-in table is by Creative Floral, and Mr. Yuhasz will try to get Connelly's to have two large mum planters. Ms Alleman stated that she would try to have place cards made.
e. Music: Rich Hale and Mike Wilson: Sandy Bilovesky stated that she, MaryAnn McMahon, Miss Scarmuzzi and all trying to get in touch with the band and choir directors at the high school. She will contact Mrs. Thigpen, who has previously stated that the band and choir will perform. Miss Scarmuzzi also stated that she just spoke with Sara Clark's mother, who stated that her fee is $95/hour. Ms Buttar said that she would bring this up at the board meeting.
f. Advertising/promotions: Mike Wilson, chairperson. Miss Scarmuzzi stated that in addition to all of the printed flyers she is distributing around the area, she has also sent out press releases to all of the local media regarding the re-dedication. Additionally, this information is available on our Facebook, Twitter, and web pages.
g. Program: Ms Buttar stated that the time capsule will be privately opened on Saturday, September 23 at 10AM. Mrs. Martin asked that the form for the fly-over and honor be completed by the board. Ms Buttar will discuss this with the board, as well as the banners.
i. Public Program so far, to begin at noon and go straight through to 3PM:
1. National Anthem
2. Butler speech
3. Band plays
4. Choir sings
5. Taft speech
6. Board member speaks
7. Mrs. Martin speaks on the history of the building
8. Time capsule opened
9. Band plays
10. Tours of building until 3PM
h. Printing: Susan Rossi-Wilcox, Rich Hale: We will be preparing these for mailing after the meeting. Please stay if you can.
