Scope and Content

The items are an envelope addressed to A.M. McKinley Esq in Canton, Stark County Ohio from Ambler & Sons, Attorneys at Law in Salem, Columbiana County Ohio. The envelope is postmarked September 1, 1879. There once was a stamp on the envelope but it is now missing. On the back of the envelope there are several signatures of William McKinley but they do not appear to be originals and were most likely written after the original date.
