Scope and Content

This item is a colored postcard of the Wilcox House, Buffalo, N.Y. The house is white with pillars and covered in ivy. There is also an oval portrait of Teddy Roosevelt in the upper right corner. It is the residence that Vice-President Theodore Roosevelt took the oath of office on September 14, 1901 after President McKinley died from infection from the injuries sustained by an assassination attempt.
