Scope and Content

This item is a colored postcard with an image of a street view of the outside of the First M.E. Church in Canton, Ohio, a bank, and men on the street. This is the church in which William McKinley's funeral services took place in September 1901. Back side text, Addressed to "Miss Mina Slocum 1051 Ackley St. East Akron, Ohio." It is a postcard from someone named Cliff. It has a postmark from Canton, Ohio 1908 and has a green one cent stamp of Benjamin Franklin. Made for S.H. Knox & Co. Printed in Germany.
