An issue of Leslie's Weekly Illustrated, Vol. LXXXVIII No. 2274. It was copyrighted by the Judge Company on 110 Fifth Avenue and published in New York on April 13, 1899. Printed at the top of the issue is "The Battle of the Jungle, This Issue Contains a Large Number of Remarkable Photographs of the Recent Bloody Engagements Around Manila." The front cover is a photo of Filipino bodies with the caption, "Awful Slaughter of the Philipinos. How their dead bodies filled the trenches after the battle of Caloocan."
