An issue of Collier's Weekly, an illustrated journal of art, literature and current events, Vol. 22 No. 16, published January 21, 1899. The cover features photographs by Edwin Emerson, Jr. of the Spanish guard of Morro, American soldiers, the American flag on Morro castle, American troops in the Plaza des Armes, the Spanish flag leaving Morro castle, and the head of General Lee's army entering Havana with the title, "The Transfer of Sovereignty" "Military Ceremonies At Havana Jan. 1st."
