Description

An issue of Leslie's Weekly Illustrated, Vol. LXXXVI No. 2226. It was copyrighted by the Arkell Publishing Company on 110 Fifth Avenue and published in New York on May 12, 1898. The front cover features a colored illustration of the United States Flag waving over the ocean with a U.S. Warship in the background. The title states "Long May It Wave." The inside cover has an illustration of a soldier and a sailor featured. The soldier is pointing to sunken ships in Manila Bay and the quote underneath the picture reads "What we did at Manila We'll do at Havana!"
