An issue of Leslie's Weekly Illustrated, Vol. LXXXIX No. 2306, it was copyrighted by the Judge Publishing Company in New York on November 18, 1899. The front cover features an illustration of women standing around a stage entrance and a little boy selling papers. The title reads "American Beauty's Tribute to English Genious" with the caption "New York's fashionable matinee girls waiting at the stage entrance of the Knickerbocker Theatre in New York to welcome and applaud Miss Ellen Terry, the famous English actress, whose engagement with Sir Henry Irving has been such a phenomenal success." At top it reads "The Romance of the Horse Show" and the war in the Transvaal, in this issue.
