This item is a postcard containing a printed stamp of with a portrait of President McKinley. The front of the card reads, "Appeal to Reason, Girard, Kansas." The back reads, "Appeal to Reason, Girard, Kansas, U.S.A. Has five times combined circulation of all other Socialist papers in America. Every issue is red hot. You can't see it, but you'll read it. Fill in blanks and driop in nearest U.S. mail box. This certifies that forty weeks' subscription has been paid in full for this paper, and on receipt of this card, name shown below will be so entered on our books."
