The magnet is mounted on a small card with a color image of a battlefield on it. The front of the card reads "Antietam National Battlefield" in brown letters at the top. The word "Magnet" is beneath the objectthe back of the card is white, and features the following text:
"The bloodiest single day in American history with more than 23,000 soldiers killed, wounded and missing in just over twelve hours of savage combat on September 17, 1862.
