Remember When Thursday January 20, 1972 supplement to the Press-News of Southeastern Stark County, Ohio. Page 1 of this supplement consists of the heading "Supplement to the Press-News Thursday January 20, 1972" and the "Remember When?" logo. The center of the page consists of a photo of President McKinley Accepting the Nomination for his second term as President on July 12, 1900. The bottom third of the page consists of a brief description of the pages that follow, along with thanks to the photographer's daughter and granddaughter for information provided and use of the photos.
Page two includes two photos of the McKinley home in Canton during the funeral and six others of the funeral procession through Canton. Page three consists of eight photos of the procession going to the train station, meeting President Roosevelt, and the removal of the casket from the train to the funeral hearse.
Page four consists of eight photos of the funeral procession through downtown Canton from the train station to McKinley's home. Page five consists of eight photos of the procession from the train station to the house, and then from the house to the Courthouse, and then to the First Methodist Church in Canton.
Page 6 consists of eight photos taken at West Lawn Cemetery of the body being placed in the temporary receiving tomb, the carriage leaving the cemetery, guards at the tomb, and the Dueber Watch Case Factory decorated in black. Page 7 includes seven photos taken during the construction of the McKinley Monument, as well as one of the completed monument.
