Scope and Content

This item is a vertical color postcard with a photograph of the McKinley Memorial dome, stairs, trees, and grass mall. Split Back: McKinley Memorial. The bodies of William McKinley, 25th President of the United States, and Mrs. McKinley repose in this memorial at Canton. It was built by public subscription as a tribute to the President who had been assassinated at Buffalo in 1901. The McKinley Memorial is administered by the Ohio Historical Society, Columbus. A Natural Color Reproduction by the Ohio Historical Society.
