Scope and Content

This item is a booklet containing sheet music for the song "Grander than all the Banners of the World." The front of the booklet contains a colored drawing of the U.S. flag, and the words, "'Flag of Columbia, Wherever 'Tis Unfurled', Words and Music by W.W. McCallip, Columbus, Ohio. Author and publisher of the songs: 'Tell Mother I'll be There' (President McKinley's message to his Mother), 'I am Going Home to Mother' ( Dedicated by Special Permission to Lieut. Hobson on his release from Santiago). Song and Chorus, Price 50c." On the bottom left corner, is handwriting which reads, "Dec. 25th/1898, Judge W.R. Day, Canton, Ohio." and "Compliments of W.W. McCallip"
