Scope and Content

Envelope addressed to Tiffany & Wales Jeweler Building Boston, Mass. Postmark reads Concord Oct. 7 6-PM 1898 N.H. The cancellation is in the form of a United States flag. There is a red one cent stamp with an image of George Washington on the upper right corner of the envelope. The left side of the envelope features a United States flag with the address J.C. Derby Jeweler, Concord, N.H. in the margin. The words "Our Country" are printed over the flag. The back of the envelope has apartial postmark that reads "Boston, Mass 1898"
