Scope and Content

Playing card from a game consisting of a picture of the Spanish American War on the back and questions and answers on the front. The back of this card has a picture of Rear Admiral Schley at the Battle of Santiago Bay. The front of this card has an 8 in the upper left corner and a capital D in the upper right corner, in bold type. This card has the following questions and answers: "What was the fate of the Oquendo? What sad event now occurred? Answer: A shell killed George H. Ellis, who was taking the distance to the enemy. What ended the career of the Furor? What now happened to the Maria Teresa?"
