Scope and Content

Playing card from a game consisting of a picture of the Spanish American War on the back and questions and answers on the front. The back of this card has a picture of Rear Admiral Schley at the Battle of Santiago Bay. The front of this card has a 12 in the upper left corner and a capital C in the upper right corner, in bold type. This card has the following questions and answers: "What happened to some of the firemen? How long did the Colon keep beyond Schley's fire? Answer: About an hour and a half. What occurred when Schley's ships resumed fire? In what temperature did the firemen have to work?"
