This item is a newspaper with the title "The World" published on February 20, 1898. The headlines read "The World's Latest Discoveries Indicate Maine was Blown Up by Submarine Mine", and "President Aroused to Dark Situation, War Spirit Rising." There are two pictures of the Maine on the front cover. Dirty, parts of the pages are missing, a few tears.
