President William McKinley Industrial Scenes Envelope.
The postmark reads "CLEVELAND, OHIO, AUG 26, 830PM, 95" (1895), and is addressed to Mrs. Frank Woolf, 23 1/2 N. Market St., Canton, Ohio." The return address is "Miss L.L. Young, 133 York St., Cleveland, Ohio."
Postage is a two cent stamp of George Washington with cancellation lines through it.
On the left hand side is a black and white square portrait of the President surrounded by scenes of industry: steel and iron, farming, railroads, mining. There is also a lady (possible Lady Justice) holding a branch with a shield covering her legs.
The back also contains a postmark, "CANTON, OHIO, AUG 27, 6 AM, 96 (1896) REC'D." The back flap has a stamp that reads in multiple lines, "15 ENVELOPES TO ANY ADDRESS, FOR 10 CENTS, SILVER, G. R. CRAFT, SECRETARY, McKINLEY CLUB, NORTH MANCHESTER, IND.Collection
