Plain white postcard. The front is imprinted with "This Side of Card is for Address Only." The postmark reads "Wooster, Ohio Jul 27 4-PM Postage of a one cent stamp with an image of McKinley is on the upper right corner. The card is addressed "For Mr. and Mrs. Eli Underwood, Tunnel Hill, Ohio" The back of the card reads as follows: "The contest is Aug. 9th. You may send that now. Red'd a card from Aunt Ollie today. Take my private lesson today. Gladys Myres's (alias Riffey) got the dictionary in the spelling contest last night. Must practice my seech. Nelle"
