The item is a coin with an image of a ship on the front and the text "You may fire when you are ready, Gridley, U.S.S. Olympia". The back has an image of a propeller and the text "Made from propeller of Admiral Dewey's Flagship which served in the battle of Manila Bay. May 1 1898." Coin is held in manilla envelope addressed to Mr. Bechtel. 1 1/8 in diameter
