Description

An issue of Collier's Weekly, an illustrated journal of art, literature and current events, Vol. 22 No. 20, published February 18, 1899 in New York by Peter Fenelon Collier. The issue features a photograph of Agoncillo and his staff, the envoy of Aguinaldo, in his apartment at the Arlington Hotel. The title reads "Aguinaldo's Ultimatum," and the caption reads "Agoncillo, the envoy of the Filipino insurgent Aguinaldo, in his apartments in the Arlington Hotel, Washington, Preapring his Chief's message for presentation to the President of the United States. At Midnight on Saturday, February 3, Agoncillo and his staff left the capital for Montreal." The photo includes Agoncillo, Lopez, Marti, and Luna, members of Aguinaldo's envoy.
