Color reproduction of a vintage postcard showing the central Court of Honor at the National McKinley Birthplace Memorial. The image features ten of the twenty-eight monolithic columns, six of the busts, the central statue of William McKinley by sculptor John Massey-Rhind, as well as a fountain in front of McKinley's statue. The image is surrounded by an off-white border. The title" Court of Honor--McKinley Memorial--Niles, Ohio" is printed in black letters across the top right of the border. The letters "9A-H1113" are printed in black at the lower right corner.
The back of the card is unused. It features black lettering on an off-white background. The test at the top left corner of the card reads "the court of Honor at the beautiful McKinley Memorial at Niles, Ohio. It is supported by twenty-eight monolithic columns of imposing size and graceful design. The central figure is the statue of William McKinley. The interior is laid out as an Italian garden and is open to the sky in great part." The words "Youngstown News Agency, Youngstown, Ohio" are along the left side, written vertically. The middle of the card contains the words "Genuine Curteich-chicago 'C.T. Photochrom' Post Card (Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.)" vertically printed. The upper right corner of the card has a 0.75 inch x 0.75 inch square with the words "Place Stamp Here 2C-P2594" printed within it.
