This item is a piece of paper campaign memorabilia from the election of 1896 that has a string attached. One side has a blue and pink graphic of a young boy holding a newspaper that says, "The Daily Beacon Paris, Ill. All the News Local and Foreign." The remaining text says, "The People's Paper The Evening Beacon 10 Cents a Week." The other side has red text that says, "Edgar County Illinois to Major McKinley, Greeting. Illinois Day, Canton, O., Oct. 21, 1896."
