Scope and Content

This item is a colored postcard with an image of President McKinley's tomb in Canton, Ohio. There are guards stationed in front of the door to the tomb. The tomb is decorated in flowers. This tomb was the original tomb of President McKinley before his body was moved to the Canton memorial after construction. On the back, postcard has a one cent stamp of George Washington and a postmark from Canton Ohio Sep 24 1912. The postcard is addressed to "Mr. S.H. Leyshon 5174 Woodworth St. Pittsburgh Pa." Split back for message and address.
