An issue of Leslie's Weekly Illustrated, Vol. LXXXIX No. 2300. It was copyrighted by the Judge Company on 110 Fifth Avenue and published in New York on October 7, 1899. Printed at the top is "Dewey Reception Number First Edition. The Second edition, issued a few days later, will contain additional striking illustrations." The cover is a photograph of Admiral Dewey aboard a ship, the latest photograph of the Great American Hero, taken on board his ship after leaving Trieste."
