An issue of Leslie's Weekly Illustrated, Vol. LXXXIX No. 2309. It was copyrighted by the Judge Company on 110 Fifth Avenue and published in New York on December 9, 1899. Printed at the top is " Our Next Issue Will Be a Superb Christmas Number, with Cover in Ten Colors, Rich and Varied Contents, Including a Superb Douple-page Drawing Dedicated to the United States Marine Corps." The cover is a photograph of a military funeral pageant in the streets of Manila, with the caption "The First Military Funeral Pageant in Manila, imposing propcession to the occasion of the recent burial of Colonel John D.
