Description

An issue of Leslie's Weekly Illustrated, Vol. LXXXVI No. 2233, it was copyrighted by the Arkell Publishing Company in New York on June 30, 1898. The front cover features a colored illustration of a solider blowing a horn with the words "Your Country Calls You". The inside cover features an illustration of American soldiers writing letters with the title, "Writing Home From the Front." and the caption "The hurried last letter written as the camp at Tampa breaks up before the departure for Cuba." At the top it reads "One dollar will pay for a subscription to Leslie's Weekly, from date of subscription until November 1st. See our extra offer."
