An issue of Leslie's Weekly Illustrated, Vol. LXXXVII No. 2246. It was copyrighted by the Arkell Publishing Company on 110 Fifth Avenue and published in New York on September 29, 1898. The front cover is a photograph of three military men in their uniforms; one of the men is holding a horn while the others hold guns. The title reads, "Uniforms And Types Of Army And Navy." The caption at the top reads "This issue contains a superb double=page illustration of the bloody battle of San Juan, July 1st, 1898. Also a double=page of photographs of our soldiers' barber=shops in camp."
