Scope and Content

A letter to J.G. Butler, Jr. from the Grand Army of the Republic, signed Hiram [Ohl]. The letter head has the name the Niles Iron and Steel Roofing Co. the letter is in regards to the bier or catafalque of William McKinley. The Grand Army of the Republic had to refuse it because they did not have enough room to keep the item when it was offered to them from the Masonic Association.
