Scope and Content

A letter from Herbert F. Doney to Representative W.R. Thom. The letter is in regards to the cancelletion of Doney's pension before he could present affadavits, and he asks Thom to look into the matter. In the letter Doney claims to have been made sick while sleeping in cold tents while serving as honor guard to William McKinley's grave site for 15 months before being sent to the Philipines were he spent time in the hospital sick.
