Scope and Content

Postcard with one black and white portrait of President McKinley in an oval. The portrait is surrounded by a gold eagle and olive branches and an American flag. The text written on the front of the post card says, "William McKinley Twenty-fifth President of The United States, Born Jan. 29, 1843. Inaugurated 1897 and 1901. Died Sept. 14, 1901." Text on the back is not quite legible but addressed to a Mr. U.L. Harris of St. Louis Missouri and speaks of presidential postcard sets. It is from Charlotte Bolton.
