Scope and Content

McKinley Stamp Club envelope. The envelope measures 3.75 x 6.5 inches. It is white. The front of the envelope shows the words "McKinley Stamp Club Canton, Ohio" in the return address area. Beneath that is an image of William McKinley by Thomas Fleming. Beneath the portrait is the following caption: "William McKinley This portrait was drawn with a pen in one continuous line, and is considered the most unique work of its kind in the world." A six cent United States postage stamp is in the upper right corner. The stamp shows an image of a map of the Western Hemisphere, with North and South America shown in red on a black background. White lines emanate from the United States. The stamp is captioned "Hemisfair '68." The back of the envelope is blank.
