"This Kodak picture was taken by Arthur B. McThaw especially for his grandfather Joseph G. Butler, Jr.
Our train from San Francisco to Seattle via Portland went through this small town and we noticed it from our car window. So we stopped for five minutes. Arthur got the porter to pose and took the picture.
