"MONUMENT TO Wm McKINLEY" Commemorative porcelain plate. The edge is done in Mother of Pearl, and the center is white with a decorative gold border. In the center of the plate is a sketch of the McKinley Monument in Canton, Ohio. Sketches of William and Ida McKinley are located on either side of the dome of the monument and face each other. Below the monument are 5 lines of text that read: "MONUMENT TO Wm McKINLEY, ERECTED BY A GRATEFUL PEOPLE. WESTLAWN CEMETERY CANTON , OHIO, SEPT 30th 1907. The back of the plate is marked "FRANCE" surrounded by a design, but otherwise plain white. It measures 8 1/2" in diameter.Collection
