The inside of the program features two pages. The left side page features text in navy blue, surrounded by a navy blue border. The text reads as follows:
"Welcome to Our Centennial Celebration!
It began on February 4, 1910. Joseph G. Butler, Jr., lifelong friend of 25th President William McKinley, suggested during the speech he made to the Niles Board of Trade, that a memorial to his friend be erected in, Niles, Ohio, McKinley's burthplace.
A plaque was currently displayed at the bank building which had been erected on the site of the original birthplace home. But Joseph Butler wanted more for his martyred friend.
The Memorial that stands before you now, is a monumental tribute to a President, and our native son, the likes of which the nation had not seen previosuly. Joseph Butler is credited with the establishment of what became the first Presidential Museum. And a century later, this memorial continues to be an eternal tribute to William McKinley!
Cornerstone Laid--November 20, 1915. Dedication--October 5, 1917."
