Description

The item is a glass paperweight featuring pictures of three of the U.S.'s martyred presidents, Lincoln, McKinley, and Garfield. The backside of the paperweight has the caption, "Our Martyred Presidents, Abraham Lincoln, born in Hardin County, Ky., Feb. 12th, 1809, died at Washington, D.C., April 15th, 1865. James A. Garfield, born at Orange, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, Nov. 19th, 1831, died at Elberon, N.J., Sept. 19th, 1881. William McKinley, born at Niles, Trumbull County, Ohio, Jan. 29, 1843, died at Buffalo, N.Y., Sept. 14th, 1901." The item was published by the Ullman Manufacturing Co., New York. It is sepia toned.
