Black and white postcard. The front shows William McKinley accepting the nomination for his second term as President on July 12, 1900. The image shows President McKinley standing on a platform, flanked by bunting, with many listeners. The caption on the back reads as follows: "PRESIDENT MCKINLEY ACCEPTING THE NOMINATION FOR THE SECOND TERM, JULY 12, 1900 40th Annual Exhibition of McKinley Stamp Club of Canton - April 3-4, 1971 Photo from original plate in McKinleyana Collection of Mr. & Mrs. George R. Bechtel, Jr. of Canton, Ohio." In the address area on the right, there is one cancelled five cent stamp with an image of Franklin Roosevelt and the words "Freedom of Speech and from Want and Fear." The postmark is April 4, 1971.
